She covers international energy and business news from the African continent. She is also a 2013 McCloy Fellow, and a 2011 International Reporting Fellow for the International Center for Journalists. Before attending graduate journalism school at New York University, she worked with both The New York Times and ABC News. A native of Tampa, Florida, she is a graduate of Howard University.
